Cute Couple at the Hamptons International Film Festival
The Hamptons were good to us. Great crowds, amazing films, and fabulous parties. We were honored to have our New York premiere there.
Aside from finally meeting the Mahoney family for the first time, another highlight was a short film entitled The Pig from Denmark, directed by Dorte Hoegh. Beautifully shot and directed with a powerful story that had just the right amount of humor. If you ever see it your neck of the woods, be sure to check it out.

Feedback from the other filmmakers!
There are a couple of other short films at the festival whose directors were kind enough to mention Cute Couple. Coincidentally, they were two of my favorite shorts in the program.
Centigrade (an AMAZING short film)
Centigrade is one of the shorts at the Jackson Hole Film Festival that made me think "Um...I'm in the same festival as this short?" Simply beautiful. Whenvever a filmmaker can create the sensation of "disturbing," I'm enthralled. And Colin Cunningham, who not only wrote and directed the peice, but starred in it, did just that. One of my favorite films ever made made is "2001: A Space Odyssey." Well, I think you'll see what I mean.

Parachute was another one of my favorites at the festival. Socially relevant, unique, clean, and powerful. Lucas Fleischer and Paul Grellong are worthy of keeping your eyes on.
Other shorts that should be tracked are Crossbow, Dark Yellow, and Validation. I am blessed to have met all of these folks.
